📋 How to Use These Prompts

Each prompt includes context fields in brackets that you should customize before pasting into your AI tool. The three standard fields are:

Discipline/Subject — Your teaching field (e.g., “Nursing,” “Sociology,” “Mechanical Engineering”)

Student Level — Who your learners are (e.g., “1st-year undergraduate,” “graduate,” “professional development”)

Course Context — Key details like duration, class size, and format (e.g., “15-module semester, 35 students, in-person”)

The more context you provide, the better the AI output. Replace every bracketed field with your specific information before copying.

Launch your UbD course design by setting up AI as your co-designer and getting an initial analysis of your course's big ideas and essential questions.
